Who this policy is for

This policy covers the Craft Fair Profit Windows application (“the app”) and the static product information website (“the website”). The public publisher name is Nikatsam. The app is available on Microsoft Store as Craft Fair Profit. The publisher uses the public GitHub Issues page for technical product support and privacy/data-rights inquiries. Issues are public; do not post personal, financial, or sensitive details.

Information in the app

The app has no sign-in flow, cloud-sync service, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, telemetry service or business-data upload client in the current authored application. It is designed for local, offline use; an internet connection is not required after installation for the app’s planning features.

When you use the app, its local database may contain the business display name you enter; products and SKUs; prices and unit costs; event names, dates, venues and location notes; expected and actual expenses; stock quantities; manually entered sales, payment methods, refunds and void reasons; and audit records of actions. These records can be commercially sensitive.

Data is not encrypted by FairProfit itself. Access is governed by your Windows account and file-system permissions. Anyone who can access your Windows profile or a copied database/backup may be able to read its contents. Protect the device and backup files, and review a database or backup before sharing it.

Diagnostics and backups

Diagnostic entries are written locally and include a UTC timestamp, event code, severity, correlation ID and exception type. Exception messages and stack traces are omitted by design. Logs rotate or expire according to the app’s configured local retention policy. A backup is a copy of your business data; creating it does not transmit it to FairProfit.

You control the local data and backups. Removing the app does not necessarily remove databases or backups from your profile. To remove them, close the app and manage the relevant local FairProfit folders yourself, taking care not to delete data you need. Windows temporary-file cleanup may affect a fallback log folder.

Information on this website

The website is a static GitHub Pages site. It has no account, contact form, advertising tags or tracking pixel. This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. Google Analytics sets cookies and sends visit data, such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, to Google. See how Google uses this data. The small break-even illustration runs in your browser and does not save or send the values you enter. The Microsoft Store link opens the published Craft Fair Profit listing.

GitHub hosts the pages and may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details and request time, under GitHub’s own service terms and privacy notice. The FairProfit site publisher does not operate GitHub’s hosting logs or control GitHub’s retention. If you follow an external link, the destination’s privacy policy applies.

Microsoft Store

When you browse, acquire, or install the app through Microsoft Store, Microsoft may process information under its own Store, Windows, and account privacy terms. The publisher does not receive the local business database through the Store. Review Microsoft’s privacy terms for its services.
